Cold Brew Instructions:

  • Fit the CoffeeSock® over the lip of a small jar (wide-mouth is preferred)
  • Add coarsely-ground coffee beans to the filter
  • For cold brew concentrate, use 1/4 cup of fresh water per 1 oz coffee grounds
  • For ready-to-drink cold brew coffee, use 1 cup of fresh water per 1 oz coffee grounds
  • Gently bloom (or wet) the grounds to ensure there are no air pockets
  • Add water in batches, making sure to saturate all of your grounds
  • Use the back of a spoon to gently press down on the top of the coffee grounds
  • Close filter by wrapping the strap around the top portion of the fabric, and passing through the attached ring (see video
  • Cover your jar and store in a refrigerator for 12-18 hours. (we like ours to soak for 16 hours)
  • Do not exceed 24 hours, or your coffee will develop off-flavors
  • Remove CoffeeSock® and discard grounds (they go great in the compost!)
  • Serve over ice or hot and enjoy!
