5 Gallon Glass Carboy
Once you brew your beer you'll need a place to ferment it. Glass carboys and fermenting buckets are a homebrewer's go-to. Glass heavy so caution must be used, but it's difficult to scratch making it easy to sanitize...it also looks cool.
3 Piece Airlock and Carboy Stopper
These two pieces create an air-tight seal so contaminated air can't get in, but CO2 can get out. Watch for the airlock to pop and see your yeast at work.
6.5 Gallon Fermenting Bucket
At 6.5 gallon capacity, this bucket allows plenty of headspace for a vigorous fermentation.
6.5 Gallon Bottling Bucket with Bottling Spigot
After your beer ferments there's the task of bottling; which is made much easier with this bottling bucket.
5 Gallon Stainless Steel Brew Kettle
Need a brew kettle? We have you covered here. This pot is a simple no frills 5-gallon kettle with lid. Perfect for beginner brewers.
24" Stainless Steel Spoon
Used to stir through the brewing process. Stainless steel is key as it's easily sanitized.
Fine Mesh Straining Bag 12″ × 19″
Straining bags are used to hold grains during the brewing process making clarification much easier.
1/2" Auto-Siphon/Racking Cane with Tubing and Clamp
You'll need to move your beer from one container to another through the brew process. Just a couple of pumps of the auto-siphon will get your beer flowing. Clamp it to the side of your bucket and let it flow.
3/8" Bottle Filler
Bottle fillers allow beer to flow through them when their tip is pressed to the bottom of a bottle. Move the tip away from the bottom and beer will stop. Simple, and effective.
10" Plastic Test Jar
Avoid contamination and get an accurate reading using your hydrometer in this handy test jar.
Floating and Adhesive Thermometer
Brewing good beer is an art and a science and much of that is temperature control. We got you covered with these accurate thermometers.
This tool is key to determining how much sugar you have in your brew (which is food for yeast in fermentation). You'll want to make sure you have it right on the money.
Beer Bottle Brush
We recommend reusing beer bottles for bottling your homebrew, but they got to be clean and sanitary. Combine this brush with a recommended cleanser to get your bottles in pristine order.
Red Head Capper and 50 Gold Bottle Caps
Many beginning homebrewers are surprised at how simple capping can be. This capper is a standard for many brewers. Bottle caps for your first batch also included! Each 5 gallon batch will yield about 48 bottles of beer.
8 oz B-BRITE™ Cleanser
Bacteria will ruin beer which makes sanitation vital to successful brewing, fermenting and bottling. B-Brite will be your friend through the entire process eliminating bacteria and leaving your gear ready to roll.
After you've bottled your first batch you'll need to clean out that carboy. It's not easy to do without the right brush, but don't you worry.
A guide to walk you through your first batch.
