A tribute to the old school, this Altbier is a crowd pleaser to the least! Altbier, meaning "old beer" are dark amber lagers with a rich caramel and biscuit flavored body followed by a dry and crisp finish. They originate from Dusseldorf, Germany and date back to the 1800's, and while still being heavily prevalent in that region Alt's are now very popular all over the world. We encourage you to brew a batch of this very special beer and have glass or two while imagining your're in the Atstadt on a spring day enjoying a truly local German beer!

The True to Style Kits kits will come virtually all inclusive, as they include all the grains and hops needed to brew, your choice of liquid yeat, 1 Whirlfloc Tablet for clarifying, a grain bag, a free promotional beer sign to hang on your wall at home and finally a hop bag. Any other items like priming sugar or bottle caps will have to be added to the order separately.
