This version comes straight out of Ireland, with a roasty aroma and flavor, and dry finish with hints of coffee and bittersweet chocolate courtesy of the roasted barley. Dry Stouts (also known as Irish Stout) is a somewhat bitter, lighter bodied bitter stout that utilizes darker roasted malts, which will impart a slight coffee-like flavor.
